The Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA) will organise the Information Days „HORIZON 2020: Insights into the new work programmes 2018-2020“

These events will be set in Vilnius, Lithuania, on Thursday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 28.

Summary of the events

9 November - Industrial leadership (LEIT) part under Horizon 2020: nanotechnologies, advanced materials, biotechnology and advanced manufacturing & processing (NMBP).

The event targets potential applicants to the calls for proposals under the Horizon 2020 NMBP.

Dr. Jan RAMBOER, the Directorate General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD), will present the new NMBP work programme 2018-2020. This presentation will be followed by a discussion about successful participation in Horizon 2020, and a Q&A session.

This event will gather representatives of the nanotechnologies, biotechnology, electronics, robotics and other sectors, as well as scientists and national policy makers to discuss and exchange views on how to best take advantage of existing initiatives.

28 November - SME support under Horizon 2020: THE SME INSTRUMENT

The event on SME participation to Horizon 2020 is specifically geared towards SMEs and SME support organisations.

Catherine Eginard, Executive Agency for SMEs (EASME), will present SME instrument, Call for proposals 2018-2020, its evaluation methods and also explain how to prepare a proposal under H2020 programme. This presentation will be followed by a discussion about key Horizon 2020 opportunities for innovative SMEs, key to SME Instrument project success, and a Q&A session.
