Lithuanian R&D and innovation potential will be presented at X International trade fair „Energy Efficiency. Renewable Energy -2017“

On November 7th Lithuanian researchers’ delegation will organize conference „Open R&D Lithuania – Science Energy Solutions for Energy Industry” at X International trade fair „Energy Efficiency. Renewable Energy – 2017“, which will be held in International Exhibition Center Conference Hall 7, Kyiv, Ukraine. 

Conference will be hosted by the Agency of Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA), accompanied by the representatives from Lithuanian Energy Institute, Kaunas University of Technology, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Aleksandras Stulginskis University and Klaipeda University. These institutions will present opportunities provided by Open R&D Lithuania network and will try to match the demands of Ukraine industry with Open R&D Lithuania network possibilities.

Open R&D Lithuania - cooperation platform among 14 Lithuanian universities, 13 public research institutes as well as 7 science and technology parks. All these institutions have concentrated their high-level R&D intellectual potential, infrastructure and resources in order to provide scientifically based solutions for business and society. Concentration of resources allows to create new technologies and products as well as provide R&D services and so to increase competitiveness of all involved partners.

Business success requires scientific achievements. Therefore, Lithuania invested into the highest qualification professionals and modern equipment, so that Lithuania would become one of the most advanced scientific centres in the Central and Eastern Europe.
