On June 18th 2019, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, which is a coordinator of “Horizon 2020” national contact point (NCP) network in Lithuania, organized a seminar "Impact in the Horizon 2020 proposals" at the Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA).

Dr. Saske Hoving, an experienced BioHorizon NCP and expert on SC2 (Food) from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, led the training. It was attended by Lithuanian NCPs from MITA, Lithuanian Research Council and Lithuanian Innovation Center.

This on-site training aimed at giving a comprehensible overview over the complex landscape of Horizon 2020. The training was organized as a mix of theoretical input and practical work in the form of a group work.

NCPs learnt where to pay special attention when preparing and writing the proposal. A session of best-practice exchange among all attendees concluded the day.
