Vilnius Innovation Forum “Innovation Drift” is back!

Innovators, inventors, experts, professionals, leaders of science and business and CEO’s are welcome at the Vilnius Innovation Forum “Innovation Drift” again. The third Forum at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre “Litexpo” will take your attention on 12-13th October, 2017 This prestigious event is organized by Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania and Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA).

The first Vilnius Innovation Forum took place on December 4-6th, 2013 under the Lithuania’s chairmanship of the European Union (EU) Council and the second was held on September 4-5th, 2015. The project was really successful, so that’s why this event is taking place every second year in order to bring the best specialists and experts from the whole world together. The former Vilnius Innovation Forum speakers were worldwide known innovators and inventors like “LinkedIn” Creator, former Executive Director for Europe Kevin Eyres, businessman, space expedition to Mars “Mars One” Co-founder and CEO Bas Lansdorp, internet founder sir Tim Berners-Lee who used to work in European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and other influential leaders of society. The Forum has a tradition to invite world known opinion leaders from global companies such as World Economic Forum (WEF), NASA, CERN, European Space Agency (ESA), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and others.

“Innovation Drift 2017” is one of the biggest and the most ambitious event of innovations in the Baltic Sea Region. As usual, this year Vilnius Innovation Forum will bring a large diversity of discussions. The lecturers will speak about business competitiveness, future technologies, robotics, the smart city opportunities, the new space technology and so on. Lithuania is not hiding in the shadow of the global progress so that’s why not only foreign speakers will participate, but Lithuanian ones will take place too.

During the two days inspiring event a wide range of different activities will be organized: international conference, workshops, innovation exhibition, B2B event, press conference, awards ceremony and visits to innovative Lithuanian companies, valleys and open access centers.

The speakers of Vilnius Innovation Forum will be announced in the nearest future as well as an updated version of internet event page with registration. It is expected to gather more than 1000 visitors from business, science and public sectors in Vilnius Innovation Forum “Innovation Drift”.
