Promotion of GovTech and AI in Lithuania (GovTech Lab) 

The purpose of the project is to boost the innovation ecosystem within the fields of GovTech and AI by increasing the number of GovTech and AI companies, encouraging organisations to integrate and use GovTech and AI solutions, focusing on raising awareness about such innovations and ensuring the accessibility of knowledge and experts for those, who aspire to create AI or GovTech products.

Aims:

• Ensure availability and accessibility of GovTech innovation experts to companies and teams already working or starting to work in the industry;
• Promote Lithuania-based GovTech innovations in Lithuania and abroad;
• Ensure availability and accessibility of AI innovation experts to companies and teams already working or starting to work in the field;
• Promote the Lithuania-based AI innovations in Lithuania and abroad.

Activities:

• Provide expert consultations to companies creating GovTech solutions;
• Organise GovTech events, conferences and communication campaigns;
• Provide expert consultations to companies creating AI solutions;
• Organise events, conferences and communication campaigns about the AI ecosystem in Lithuania.

GovTech and AI are two important parts of today’s innovation ecosystem. They create value not only to the private sector in the form of financial gain but can have a positive impact on wider society and solve major societal challenges. However, both GovTech and AI innovations are often not very well known or understood in Lithuania, while innovative solutions created in Lithuania are not always represented adequately abroad. Therefore Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology initiated the GovTech Lab project to promote GovTech and AI innovations and support the ecosystem.
