About project in Lithuanian Life Sciences Industry


To contribute to the ambitious goal for Lithuania, namely, to become one of the leading life sciences countries in the region by 2030, in October 2019 MITA launched the initiative called “Promotion of Life Sciences Industry Development”.

The project aims to promote the growth and international recognition of the Lithuanian life science industry.

Project clients:

  • Life sciences students and researchers seeking to apply their knowledge and commercialize the idea;
  • Research and study institutions;

  • Open days at science valleys, institutes and universities
  • B2B matchmaking events
  • Consultancy on funding opportunities and programs implemented by MITA
  • Assessment of the idea's compliance with the criteria for R&D activities
  • Consultancy on intellectual property and patenting of ideas
  • Assistance in preparing applications after national and international programs/calls
  • Pitch training workshops for the successful presentation of a business idea to partners and investors
  • Help in attracting investment and investor pitch trip funding
  • Start-up Master Classes for business creation and development
  • Accelerator programs and incubation services
